There is no fee to join NYCATA/UFT, simply scroll down to join our mailing list or contact us.  As a member you will receive NYCATA        updates and invitations to all NYCATA events.

MEMBERSHIP:  Active membership shall be open to all NYC art educators, art coordinators, art supervisors, art specialists, university and museum educators, school administrators, classroom teachers, retirees, college students, and any other individuals whose purposes are consistent with those of the Association. 

As a standing professional committee of the UFT, NYCATA/UFT is supported by the UFT. Membership is extended to all persons whether they are UFT members or not.

Members are entitled to most privileges of the Association including the right to serve as board/committee members*.  

*Candidates for President/Vice President must be active or retired UFT art educators, voting in general elections are reserved for current or retired uft members as well as active board/committee members.
